Very interesting game will be played in Austrian Cup, on Friday evening. FC Kufstein are Reginalliga West team (third tier), which in their history was always between second and third divisions. Kufstein is a town in Tyrolia and it means long way to the west for Groedig players. Why am I pointing this out? Well, the reason is very easy. After a very good start to their second division campaign, Groedig are now starting to suffer the impact of a short bench. For their game against Austria Lustenau, they had to reactivate one player who already retired as they missed 7 players due to injuries and suspensions. In such situation, with the league being their first priority, the only way they can recover a bit is to »skip« this match mentally and concentrate on the league. Of course, it will be a great chance for in form Kufstein (currently 4th in Regionalliga), who as hosts will suffer the impact of this game a lot less and will surely play with a strong team. As said, they are in good form, coming off 4-1 win over Altach II team and should be able to beat Groedig!
