STOCKPORT TRIO STRUGGLING AHEAD OF WEST BROM CLASH
Monday October 15 2001
Stockport boss Andy Kilner has injury concerns over three players ahead of the clash with West Brom.
Shefki Kuqi suffered a recurrence of an old ankle injury in the draw at Manchester City and is doubtful.
Aaron Wilbraham (calf) and Lee Sandford (dead leg) are also struggling after suffering knocks in the same game.
West Brom boss Gary Megson is playing down his return to Stockport.
Megson spent nearly two years at Edgeley Park, before taking over at the Hawthorns.
County themselves have two former Albion players - Richard Sneekes and Jason van Blerk - who will be aiming to put one over their old colleagues.
Megson is likely to restore 34-year-old Bob Taylor to the starting line-up in place of Ruel Fox.
Taylor was rested for the 2-0 home defeat by Millwall last Thursday - Albion's second game in 48 hours.
Megson may also recall Tony Butler to his defence with former Portsmouth player Darren Moore likely to make way should he do so.
The Baggies chief said: "I am not interested in Stockport, I am only interested in what we do.
Stockport have had some good results recently so it will be a tough game
