Sabathia however has continued to pitch well and the Indians finally began getting him some runs and over his last seven starts, have made a complete turnaround, going 6-1 (Sabathia's ERA in the six wins is 1.99!). Althogh Cleveland is a poor road team, they ARE playing at Detroit, where MLB's worst team, has a 6-26 home mark!!! The Tigers are 1-12 in Adam Bernero's 13 starts TY and is there ANY reason to think the Tigers will win tonight? Sabathia made five starts vs the Tigers LY, with the Indians going 4-1 and in his career, has eight starts vs Detroit, with Cleveland going 7-1! Go with the Tribe!

Hard to believe that a pitcher with the horrible results he has posted this season would command a high favorite money line. The public is always looking at NYY as a very good team and TB as a very bad team - and with good reason. This season, howevere, is far different with TB improved while the Yankees are really struggling, especially the bullpen. There is a 77% probability that Weaver will not complete 6 innings of work and should that occur TB has a 68% probability of winning the game. There are dozens of additional projections calling for TB to win both ends of the double header so a small parlay on TB in both games is an attractive opportunity. Supporting the second game grading is the following precedent showing that NY YANKEES are 6-11 (-17.3 Units) against the money line vs. a starting pitcher whose gives up 1 or more HR's/start this season.
